CAI (才) is a leading volunteer-based, non-profit organization working to improve the lives of migrant children in China.  They use the power of arts and sports to foster CAI’s four C’s of confidence, courage, commitment, and care among underprivileged migrant children. For more details, please visit www.cai-china.org.

CAI is looking for energetic and dedicated Basketball, Art, and Music volunteers with a love for these subjects and a heart for the underprivileged to join the team of volunteer teachers for the 2010 Fall Semester Program in Beijing.

They still need a ton of volunteers for their fall programs— especially for Basketball (40 more volunteers needed) and Interdisciplinary Arts (44 more volunteers needed).Volunteers are needed for three hours on six Saturdays between the end of October and the end of November. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the migrant situation in China and experience a totally different side of Beijing.

If you are interested in becoming a CAI volunteer, please e-mail them at: volunteer@cai-china.org.  For more details, please visit the “FAQ” section of their website, or see the flyers in the courtyard. The deadline to apply is September 15th, 2010.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call them at 010 64378616.
