HUTONG SCHOOL UNVEILS EXPANSION PLANS WITH NEW BRANCH IN SHANGHAI

Leading private Chinese language school continues to expand and is set to open its third branch in China.

September 23, 2011 – Beijing – After opening a second branch in Beijing in January 2011, Hutong School aims to welcome new students in Shanghai before the end of the year. Demand for Chinese language courses and internship programs in China continues to soar. Over the course of 2011 Hutong School has witnessed triple-digit growth and will continue to expand its network of branches to keep up with demand.

Opening a new branch in Shanghai was the next logical step for expansion, given its great attraction to foreigners and the wide range of available internship positions in diverse sectors. This expansion is an exciting opportunity to extend our services to the high-rise modern city of Shanghai, the most international city in China, and furthermore, represents a new milestone in the development of Hutong School.

In Shanghai, at first our aim is to establish ourselves as the prime Chinese language training center. Our Shanghai branch will initially serve as a language center catering to people working and living in Shanghai. In February 2012, we aim to welcome our first students from abroad taking part in one of our all-inclusive Chinese Language, Internship or Volunteer Programs.
