Xiangqi, known in the west as Chinese Chess, is an extremely popular game in the eastern hemisphere. It is currently played by millions in China, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong and other Asian countries. It is commonly believed that both Xiangqi and Orthodox Chess derive from the original Indian game of Chanturanga, but some maintain that Chess is actually Chinese in origin.

After this class you can take your newly acquired Xiangqi skills to the streets and practice your Chinese language skills while you're!

Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm, Tuesday November 30th
